Thinking About Work

May 16th, 2013 at 04:27 am

I've been offered a PT one evening a week tutoring job for a couple months this summer. The pay is good, and I'm thinking about it. But with my other class, it means two evening away from home in July and August, which is not my ideal. But I'll be spending most days with DD, so perhaps three extra hours away wouldn't be so bad?

I'm just not quite sure.

In other news, the decluttering continues. Tomorrow I'm dropping off books at a local charity with some also going to Half Price Books. And DD seems to have outgrown virtually all her summer clothes, so I've made a bag of them for a friend. Tonight I pitched several lone earrings.

Would you put the money toward a goal of yours? If you are spending most of your time with your daughter, time out might be welcome for awhile. Go with your gut is my best advice!

You really are moving along with the decluttering. Keep up the great work.

Does the tutoring job need prep time? Terrific job continuing with de-cluttering. It takes more effort to keep up when there are items we no longer need, no longer use, are too big, too small, unflattering, damaged, stained or just worn out. Since following the 'new item in - old item out ' philosophy I've seen double benefit. Even the guys are thinking twice about buying new stuff since they know they will have to let something similar go.
