Sleep Inducer

January 11th, 2017 at 10:26 pm

Yep, that's my blog these days. I have another couple hours of organizing my conference talk and am ruing my choice of the hour-long option rather than trying harder to find other participants and do a panel.

Guess what we ate for lunch? Leftovers! I pretty much always eat leftovers for lunch, but somehow serving them to DH makes them seem pretty mundane.

It's Wednesday which is always spaghetti night here, and we've had freezing rain. Perhaps my mood can be ascribed to not being out of the house since Sunday. But I'll be at the conference all day tomorrow. Or the mood could be blamed on it being the first January since 2012 that I haven't been headed for London. Let's not even discuss that.

No spending. Indeed nothing but working.

Sounds like a good way to save money...stay home and eat what you have! Stay safe if you have to go out in that nasty weather. Smile

I know what you mean about leftovers... I eat them every day, and never think about it, but my husband likes something new (usually a sandwich, so not that exciting actually). Not only do I eat leftovers, but sometimes the leftovers are what has been left over from F's lunch.

Oh Buenida, that's me too. My husband is pretty good about it. My dad wouldn't touch leftovers, but me, DH, and the dog manage to eat it all. Even the small bits of crust DD brought home went to the bird feeder.

I'm so sorry that it's your first January in a few years that you haven't been heading out to London... I hope your husband finds some work so that this is your only year that you miss out.
