Summer Blahs

All of our annual insurance bills come due in late July and August--life insurance, homeowner's and at least one car. So until I get paid again, I'm transferring money from savings to help cover it. That and the prospect of a leaking coolant system on my car makes it all sort of ugly.

But I got a couple of checks from surveys and am determined to keep my chin up.

Maybe I can find something to list on ebay....

    I can relate: life insurance premiums, second installment of real estate taxes, plus parochial school tuition, etc. I like October once all of that is out of the way!

    That is a tough situation. I hope that you savings accounts are fairly liquid, otherwise you could see some hefty reprecussions. Also I would try to get the money back into savings as quick as possible in order to make up for the interest that you will lose taking out funds.

    Yeah, I know that's they're there for, but I still hate to use them. And it's less than a week till they pay me for my summer class.
