"Trash Out" video

Here's the link to that amazingly awful video on SoCal trash outs. If this isn't an indictment of consumerist culture, but still so sad on so many levels.

    My husband used to clean apartments. He said it was more common than you'd think that people would leave their stuff behind.

    I thought the video piece was pretty well done...just wish the people would see the value in the stuff they could take with them or sell. It's not like the foreclosure happened overnight...months of warning before they had to leave.

    Thanks for sharing that. I don't get PBS since I switched over to the digital TV converter, so I'll have to watch the full program online. That was a sad and sobering excerpt.
