Unmotivated

Maybe it's that lazy summer feeling, but I feel tremendously unmotivated about saving money lately. It's not that we've been spending wildly, I just don't feel like paying much attention to the things I'm normally so vigilant about--a couple bucks at the grocers, Walgreen's rebates, best deals on school supplies.

I don't know if I should try to motivate myself with some sort of goal, or just laze around with another library book until September...

    I just went through 6 months of being unmotivated. I think it's normal to lose focus sometimes. It will come back.

    I think its all right to be unmotivated about saving money as long as you are keeping your neck above water fiscally. Its like swimming - its okay to tread water and rest a bit to focus more strongly later on ... as long as you aren't drowning.
