I need to remind myself that I can't accomplish the things I got done in the summer during the school year. My online class demands a lot of time, and although I'm home, I'm not free to do laundry, cook a big meal, make soup stock, go to the grocery store, the bank, and do other errands. That's what I tried to do today, and it didn't work.

I have two new preps this semester, and I'm swimming hard against the current. Hmm-- I guess I need to figure out what reasonable expectations would be.

But I did get some things done, and if I can finish my prep for tomorrow's face-to-face classes, perhaps I can get some rest and feel better tomorrow!

Paulette--I did get a walk in today!

Yay! I didn't. I have an excuse to go out walking: I can distribute literature for my candidate to passersby. I spent my afternoon doing an Excel spreadsheet to show the vice-principal and me where my kid, the rest of the "accelerated/differentiated math boy gang", and his grade went wrong on the state-wide math test last year.

Something tells me, Paulette, I'd support your candidate too. I hightailed it out of the house at 3;15 and the school bus almost beat me to the driveway at 4. But it got done.

AS I look at my raggedy looking house and empty fridge, I too am wondering how I am ever going to get everything done during the school year... SO is away at a school for 6 weeks, and I am feeling the "grown up" shortage in the house. I'm planning on hitting the grocery store Before work to grab some veggies and fruits to get us through the week!
