why I love estate/tag/rummage sales

I needed a couple of extra 9x13 pans for an afterschool program where the kids get dinner. I don't want to leave my good ones, and thought about buying disposables, but stopped at an estate sale on the way home and got two for $1.

Such a nice bargain--and exactly what I was searching for.

    I need a certain garden tool from an estate sale because "they don't make 'em like they used to." I want an old one that will last generations rather than a new one that will not even last a summer.
