Sucked into the Target Vortex

I'll bet most of us have been there. I took DD to Target to return a couple things and pick up some coffee. About $100 later, I staggered back out into the sunshine with two bulging bags.

At least I remembered the coffee----

My Women and Lit class starts tonight. I'm bringing snacks for me and a big old bottle of Diet Coke someone left at my house to share with my students. We don't drink Diet Coke, and I'll bet they'll be happy to have it. Small price to pay for listening to me yammer on for 4 hours!

    Guilty here too! Thankfully couponing has really changed my mentality. Hardly spend anything anywhere these days, Target included. Smile

    You sound like a cool instructor! I hereby vote that more profs bring the occasional beverage for their students. (Somehow, I doubt that will lead to any significant changes at my school, though...) Ohhh, and Target can be a cruel mistress. You go in for one thing, and come out with bags of stuff. I just don't always have the insurance that my self-discipline will stand up to their racks of special bargains...
