More Outgrowing

October 21st, 2010 at 04:11 am

There's been a rash of moderate expenditures around here lately. We need a few things, and DD has outgrown all her shoes and many of her clothes. Her Pooh sleeping bag has just been rejected as too babyish for the upcoming sleepover. Now it appears she has also outgrown her rain boots.

I foresee a trip to the dread Target in my future, especially since she has a half day at school tomorrow.
It's a good thing some freelance work has rolled in, not that I need more work, but the money will be handy.

No other news except we still have to get to our insurance choices!

Isn't it the way it is with kids! Maybe you'll luck out and find a sleeping bag on clearance this time of year.

Stay focused when you get in target. Go straight to the kiddy sleeping bag section. Then straight to the clearance clothes, rats too summery, okay onto the real stuff! Actually I think they had some school clothes type stuff in their ad this week.

same here! Ale saw some tennis shoes she liked... they were $60! I told her there is no way I'm spending that kind of money on shoes that she'll probably outgrow in 3 months! (they used to last 6 months, now 4 months!)

Is it that time already for making insurance choices? At least you have some options, it sounds like... more and more places it seems are offering no health benefits or very little in the way of selection. A shaky economy leads to those kinds of results...
