Good Bargain Day

November 7th, 2010 at 06:29 pm

Yesterday was a great bargain day. We breakfasted at Einstein's while DD was doing French and used our 25 percent off coupon. Then to a local church rummage sale where DD got lots of cute clothes and books, followed by a thrifty trip to the library and then a double-coupon extravaganza at the grocery store.

Don't you love when that happens?

Had a pretty thrifty day myself.
Breakfast at home-and made enough for 2 more meals during the week.
Hit up CVS for 2 pkg of cookies @$1each w/a $1/2 coupon & paid w/EB also getting a bag tag credit.
Went to see my Dad (carried in my lunch)and watched the Bears play. Got coupon sections from his paper.
Bought 2 pkg of lunchmeat on clearance at grocery ($0.29@)= 2 lunches when add the cheese & bread also bought on sale/clearance
Dinner from my freezer + salad & veg
