I just like the sound of that: September Weekend. What wonderful weather we've had. The garden is still spitting out cucumbers, yellow squash, and tomatoes; I love Septembers like this.

After dinner we went out for ice cream and met lots of our neighbors there. What great fun for $6!

Only one small financial wrinkle; a colleague just e-mailed me about not yet receiving her contract from the university, and I realized mine hadn't come yet either. I'm just anticipating our stupid payroll system screwing things up yet again. Will check on it Monday.
