Cranky Cranky Cranky

That was me yesterday. It was one of those days when every minor thing went wrong, from my DH dropping a container of juice on the floor, to a terse e-mail from one of DD's teachers, to her stress about a math test, to NONE of the A/V working in my classroom last night, followed by the vending machine eating my money.

None of this was major, but I did make a big cocktail when I got home. Those annoyance, coupled with the dog's cone-induced moping has made this an unpleasant household.

But today is a new day and I'm intending to make it better. More decluttering, more sleep, and a lovely Amazon gift card from e-miles.

    I just write off those kinds of days as a 'Life Challenge' day, grateful it doesn't have long term damage and hope I handle it well. Of course when I picked up the 2 kilo bag of corn in the deep freeze from the wrong end...not realizing it wasn't sealed and corn niblets flew everywhere - into the depths of freezer, on the garage floor, onto the car etc. I didn't have a kind word to say. I was saying words I didn't know I knew! The dog and I had a race to see if I could sweep up the debris faster than he could eat it. Dogs over eating corn have ghastly side effects. lol

    I'll join the "trying day club" - sick kids (all allergy and asthma sufferers) home (one last Thursday, two last Friday, one yesterday, one today). Seems all I'm doing is dosing meds, running a nebulizer, doing laundry, and cooking.

    Highlight of my day: Parish Advisory Board Meeting - hoot hoot!

    Oh my! Snafu's day made me laugh since today a package of spaghetti fell out of the cupboard, hit me on the head, and spilled all over the counter. It looked so much like pick-up-sticks, I had to laugh.
