Small Savings and Reimbursements

May 26th, 2022 at 03:44 pm

I spent an hour this morning filing some Flex spending reimbursements.  I'd gotten behind on that since the paperwork is a bit fussy, but the totals were over $100 with DD's allergists and various prescriptions.  I likely have more to do, but that's a start.

I got a much-needed haircut yesterday, but couldn't get a color appointment until (eek) July.  I'm not the most skilled colorist and without DD doing the back of my head, I was not enthusiastic.  But I bought a Madison  Reed color kit which I've had success with before, and spent a good hour on it this morning.  I don't like doing it; I have thick hair and it's a process.  The results are fine, I've saved $50 or so, and am presentable for a while.

Now off to another meeting; they're endless in these weeks after classes are over.

Paperwork can be a hassle, but at least you are seeing some benefit of it. Good job on coloring your hair. That's quite a bit of savings!
